$95.00 Sold Out
Quite a story can be told on how I was able to get hold of these 3 special wild clays of Tamborine Mountain. But imagine coming up with a crazy plan to research local potters who sourced their own clay in the 1950’s. Then after researching, interviewing and locating these original clays, being allowed access to them, processing and testing it.. to find that it’s all stoneware and it’s absolutely amazing to work with. with no additives, fired to cone 10) The stories about these industrious mid century women potters comes soon. I am currently working with an art historian and a geologist. I can't wait to share. But know, that these cups, reserved for a show in London which may now be cancelled due to current events, are super special.
