Still battling drought in many parts of Queensland, these cups were created after seeing the sun settle down after another dusty and hazy day. Summer has definitely arrived and I can't help but see how my mood shifts, and different colours take control in my nerikomi layers.
Finely crafted from Australian porcelain, these cups have nerikomi layers of coloured porcelain and various stoneware clays. Sourced from Queensland's Great Dividing Range, these cups have slices of raw volcanic minerals and clays.
Each cup is hand crafted by Larissa in her under ground bunker studio based in Tamborine Mountain, Queensland.
Price is for 1 cup- which has its own special personality.
Did you know that porcelain keeps your wine super cool? Feel free to try! ;) I’ve also been told that gin, iced tea and chai lattes suit these cups pretty well too!
Polished silky smooth outside with a clear gloss inside.
Fired to cone 10 which offers superior translucency, whiteness and strength.
Recommendation is to hand wash for a long & happy life.
approx: 200ml 80mm high, 90mm wide at rim
